About the Walking Festival
North Berwick Coastal Walking Festival is a community-led initiative from the North Berwick Coastal Health and Wellbeing Association. We recognise the importance to our physical and mental health of being able to get out and go for a walk, however long or short that may be.
Living in the North Berwick Coastal area, we are so lucky to have a wealth of walks, paths and routes we can use and many, many beautiful places to go to. As one volunteer put it “places to stir the soul”! This festival was organised to encourage people to get out by themselves or with friends, and enjoy connecting and reconnecting with these special places.
North Berwick Coastal Health and Wellbeing Association is a voluntary group that works under the umbrella of our local Area Partnership. Its wider remit is to reduce the effects of inequality in all its forms, within the North Berwick Coastal ward.
